Royal White Redbud
It has low water requirements and displays a high tolerance to salt and alkali soils. It can be used in full sun to part shade. It has large heart shaped leaves during the summer, and long seedpods in the fall. The Royal White Redbud is also a more compact tree than the Eastern Redbud. Water Tupelo The fall color is yellow to purple. Many kinds of wildlife eat the fruits and it is a favored honey tree. The Water Tupelo tree, Nyssa aquatica, is also called the cottongum, sourgum, swamp tupelo, tupelo-gum, and water-gum. This deciduous tree has a swollen base that tapers to a long, clear bole and often occurs in pure stands. A good mature tree will produce commercial timber used for furniture and crates.
