The Coreopsis Autumn Blush, Coreopsis 'Autumn Blush' (PPAF) is a wonderful new variety to the Coreopsis family. The fern like leaves make a great contrast with the daisy shaped flowers. Autumn Blush is a long blooming plant that has beautiful yellow flowers with a burgundy colored eye turning to all burgundy in the fall. It tolerates the heat and humidity extremely well and flowers best in a sunny location. It should be cut back in late summer to extend the bloom period. Phlox - White Flame The Phlox White Flame, 'Phlox paniculata', is an ideal ground cover with masses of huge, white, pristine flowers and a thick mat of foliage. ‘White Flame’ is a new variety with variegated foliage and a pinkish tinge near the tips or the leaves. Blooming from April to May, it has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 12-18”. It is a definite addition to any perennial garden. ‘White Flame’ needs to be planted in a full sun area in well-drained soil. Use ‘White Flame’ in rock gardens, as a spread over curbs and short retaining walls, or in difficult edges of dry streambeds.
